Abstract Sessions Overview

Abstract sessions at IMNHC 2026 will be a place for attendees to share successful implementation strategies, program learning, and key research findings aligned to conference tracks. Most presentations will have more than one possible associated conference track. Conference tracks have overlapping components and themes, and the examples listed are not exhaustive.

Sessions will be prioritized that feature the most valuable insights for cross-country learning and dialogue and address key barriers identified by countries in reducing maternal and newborns deaths and stillbirths.

Submissions to IMNHC 2026 will undergo a peer review process by an international content review committee with a wide range of expertise. The highest-scoring abstracts and preformed panels will be chosen for oral presentation in a conference session. At this time, in-person poster abstract presentations are not planned.

Selected abstract presenters receive access to one full-conference ticket (must be purchased separately) and selected panels will receive one full-conference ticket for each panel member (must be purchased separately), granting access to all IMNHC 2026 sessions and events.
