Engage and Exchange Sessions Guidance

Key Considerations for Applicants:

These sessions will be open to all IMNHC attendees
In-person participation is required
Submissions must relate clearly to one or more of the conference tracks
Submissions must follow the required format for each session type
Successful applicants must purchase their own ticket to the conference
Each of the Engage and Exchange sessions will be approximately 75 minutes in duration, with the exception of the Storytelling Showcase which will be composed of multiple 10–15-minute presentations. Please prepare your applications accordingly.

Prospective presenters should consider the following, which will contribute to the selection process:

Active Engagement: Does this submission support the objective of promoting engagement and exchange between conference participants?
Valuable Contribution: Does the proposed submission contribute meaningfully to the conference’s goals and reflect the priority conference tracks.
Inclusivity and Equity: Does the proposed submission amplify underrepresented voices in maternal and newborn health? Is it designed with cultural sensitivity and an understanding of local context?
